Honda 100 Pridor Technical Specs (Pridor 100)

Engine

The Honda Pridor 100 comes with a 97.1Cm3 engine which can produce around 7.5-8 horse power. That is the decent horsepower to take you anywhere on the road in any part of Pakistan. The bore and stroke of the bike is 50.0 X 49.5 mm which makes this engine a box engine. Box engines are famous for longer runs and durability. The engine is a single piston OHC engine which means this engine does not vibrate like Honda CG 125 OHV engine ensuring smooth rides.

Honda 100 Pridor has 4 speed constant mesh transmission which means this bike is not made to go for high speeds. The bike can easily cross the speed of 90 KM/H and is more stable between 70-80 KM/H speed as compared to its younger sibling Honda CD 70 Dream. The bike comes with the only option of kick start with no option of self start. Also, the bike comes with a traditional PZ carburetor; the exact model is PZ 16 carburetor.

Body and Aesthetics

The body of Honda Pridor is pretty decent and of good quality with a dry weight of 96kgs this weight indicates the bike is pretty heavy as compared to its engine size. The wheelbase of this bike is 1226mm which means distance from the mid of the front tire to the middle of the back tire. The seat height of this bike is also at a decent height of 798mm and the ground clearance is 156mm. The overall dimensions of the bike are 1986 X 718 X 1050 mm. The bike is a combination of plastic and metal parts.

The mud guards, tappets, and headlight hood are made up of plastic material which reduces the weight of the bike and also increases durability because of flexibility. The design philosophy of Pridor is similar to Dream CD 70 and also there is no use of plastic on the metallic tank of Pridor like Honda CB 125F or CB 159F. The speedometer of this bike similar to Honda CD 70 Dream means a speedometer consists of two dials.

The bike is available in three colors red, blue and black.

Speedometer and Headlight

In one dial we have speed, and the kms covered by bike while the second dial is just for aesthetics looks with just a logo of bike and the Neutral light with High light The Honda CD 100 prior does not come with a rpm and trip meter which is again a drawback of this bike. The front light and back light of this bike are also on the modern side. This bike’s light derives its design philosophy or even it is almost identical to Honda CG 125 Deluxe (discontinued and replaced by CB 125F).

Suspension

The suspension of this bike is quite decent, much better than Honda CD 70 but it also uses the same technology, front suspension  USD conventional shocks or suspension while at back swing arm pair suspension. The technology is the same but the quality is definitely high with decent travel size of suspension. The tires come with traditional spoke metal rims and the tires are with tubes. The brakes Pridor utilizes are drum brakes both at front and back.

Maintenance

The bike comes with a traditional Honda OHC engine and also with traditional PZ carburetor. This means the maintenance cost of this bike is not so much. The engine required 800 ml of engine oil and the recommended engine oil for this bike is also by Honda SG grade 20W-50. The regular maintenance of this bike is also on regular price. The wide network of Atlas Honda all around Pakistan is sufficient to make you ensure you will not face the spare parts unavailability issue.
