Suzuki GS 150 price in Pakistan
Suzuki Pakistan placed the Suzuki GS 150 price in Pakistan strategically at the lower side in 2005, at that time the CG 125 was around 60000 rupees. While in 2005 Suzuki launched GS 150 at the around 70000 to 75000 price the dollar conversion at that time was $1,250. As of now the price of Suzuki GS 150 in Pakistan is Rs 3,99,900 the dollar conversion is $1420.
Which shows the price of this bike only increased $220 but in Pakistani rupees it changed a lot. The reason is the Pakistani economy as it is not stable and specifically after 2021 due to political instability the prices of motorcycles skyrocketed. Still with this Suzuki GS 150 is the cheapest 150cc bike available in Pakistan by any major player.
Suzuki GS 150 technical specs
In this section we discuss the engine, suspension, brakes and aesthetics of suzuki gs 150.
Engine
The engine of this bike is a massive success of Suzuki GS 150. The engine is 150 cc with bore and stroke of 57 X 56.8mm meaning its a square engine. This engine in Pakistan is famous for its durability and longevity. This is the only 150cc engine available in the Pakistani market by any big brands which has indigenous oil filter. That means with regular oil change the oil filter of this bike will also change. The engine produces 13.8 hp @ 8500.0 RPM and 13.4 Nm of torque @ 6000.0 RPM.
It shows that Suzuki GS 150 produces the most amount of power and the most amount of Nm of torque as compared to its competitors. Except one bike which is Voge 125 but there is no comparison of Suzuki GS 150. As the price of GS 150 is almost half and Voge has not have any assembly plant in Pakistan just like Suzuki Pakistan. The engine is SOHC with a balancer shaft, air cool, and 4-stroke technology. The compression ratio is 9.2:1 means it can run easily on normal petrol
The bike comes with 5 speed constant mesh transmission, traditional wet clutch, the carburetor of this bike is interesting as GS 150 comes with butterfly carburetor. Due to that the fuel average is decent with good performance, the down side is the expensive maintenance of the butterfly carburetor as compared to traditional PZ carburetor. The bike comes with kick/self start both options and this bike can achieve around 40-43 km/l easily depending on your riding habits.
Body and Aesthetics
Body and aesthetics wise this bike is very simple just like CG 125 on the front the bike has round headlight with traditional halogen bulb. After that there is a metallic tank with nothing special and at the back that traditional Suzuki GS 150 back light with indicators. The mudguards of Suzuki GS 150 are made up of metal. The overall looks of Suzuki GS 150 are retro classic looks and the looks are subjective as some people really like this simple design.
But according to some opinions this design is outdated because since 2005 the design of Suzuki GS 150 has not changed. The bike is available in two colours, red and black the seat height of this bike is pretty desert and there is no problem in riding this bike for the rider as well as for the pillion. The wheelbase is 1270mm meaning the bike is not too long and not too short. The ground clearance is 155mm meaning no issue for daily hurdles during on road rides.
The dry weight is 116kg which is a contributing factor for this high performance as told earlier the bike has simple design with no complications. The bike has the 12 liters fuel tank capacity with reserve option.

Speedometer
The speedometer of this bike again looks like the retro classic speedometer. It has two dials, one dial has the speeds in km/h and the other dial has RPM, the bike also has the gear indication, trip meter and overall mileage covered. The speedometer is simple and decent as there are no advanced and modern stylings in the speedometer. The light in the speedometer is green which gives it the feeling and looks of a retro classic era.
Tire and Suspensions
The bike has front tyre of 2.75-18 42P and back tyre of 3.00-18 47P. The brakes are both drum at front and drum break at back and these breaks are pretty decent to stop this back. Still there should be disc brakes at the front tyre as the bike’s engine is really powerful. There was a model by Suzuki named GS 150SE meaning special edition and that model came with alloy rims and front disk but it was discontinued.
Suzuki GS 150 comes with traditional spokes metal rims with tube tyres. The bike comes with traditional telescopic, coil spring, oil damped suspension at front and rear suspension swing arm, coil sprig, oil damped. This bike has pretty awesome suspension due to the fact that most beginner riders purchase this bike because of its speed, its performance and comfort.
Maintenance
The bike has been in the market since 2005 that means it’s been around for 21 years. The availability of spare parts and the network of mechanics is available in most of the areas of Pakistan. Suzuki is the second largest player of bikes in Pakistan but the mechanics network of Suzuki is nothing as compared to Atlas Honda. Suzuki GS 150 comes with new carburetor technology of carburetor meaning some mechanics will face difficulty in servicing the engine. Gs 150 engine is rock solid and famous for its rigidity. The bike’s spare parts in general and oil filter are all available in Pakistan especially in big cities.
