Introduction

GPX Thailand collaborated with Royal Power Pakistan, and now the Royal GPX has introduced some bikes in Pakistan, and we will discuss all models in our upcoming blogs. For this blog, we will discuss the new Royal GPX Libre 150 price in Pakistan, its features and review. Why in my opinion this is a good bike, and how it can be a game changer for the Pakistani market. So let’s start our blog but before starting this blog, first look at the company GPX. GPX is a Thailand-based company started in 2007 and famous for its premium bikes, including scooters, sports bikes, retro classic bikes, and naked bikes.

In Pakistan, Royal GPX has introduced the sports models and the lower range models, including a 200cc naked bike, which we will definitely discuss in our later blog. In this blog we will discuss the Royal GPX Libre 150 price in Pakistan, its features and my verdict. Kindly read this full blog to avoid any misunderstanding.

Royal GPX Libre 150 Price in Pakistan

The price point at which this bike is introduced in Pakistan is very interesting. The competitors are, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and the Chinese bikes, including High-Speed and Road Prince. So the price wise Libre 150 beats each and every bike of Pakistan, literally. And the reason is that it’s not like that, it’s the cheapest 150 in the market as the United 150 in this range. But the interesting thing is that the Libre 150 comes with an EFI system.

That means it’s an electronic fuel injection system bike, not the classic carburetor bike. And the power delivery is also decent, but the main thing is its price, and the GPX Libre 150 price in Pakistan is around Rs 375,000. So in 375,000, we have an EFI 150cc engine, a sportier, and a bulkier naked bike with disc brake on front, with alloy rims, and digital speedometer. I don’t know why this bike is relatively cheap as compared to the other giants of Pakistan, despite the fact that this bike is a CBU unit.

This bike is not assembled in Pakistan, rather it’s a completely built unit offered by GPX. That means it will be manufactured in Thailand and then it will be directly imported to Pakistan. So, the quality will be a concern of users, and the deliveries will start in the end of July and in the start of August. We will then give the judgment on the quality of this bike. But the GPX Libre 150 price in Pakistan is amazing in first impression.

Features

When we look at its appearance, it’s a quite beautiful and sportier naked bike. It has a sportier tank, a sportier fuel lid usually used in sports bikes and the higher cc naked bikes. The bike comes with alloy rims, decent suspension, and the front look resembles the Benelli 180 and the Benelli 150. The bike comes with DRL and a fully digital speedometer. One interesting thing is that the GPX Libre 150 price in Pakistan is the lowest price offered by any decent brand. As some Chinese companies are offering their 150cc bikes around this price but they are importing bikes and putting their stickers.

Also, the bike comes with a return shift five-speed gearbox, and the horsepower it produces is around 12 horsepower and it also produces around 11 Nm torque. That means it’s a decent bike performance wise. The thing I don’t like about the website is that they did not mention the engine type, like it says it’s a SOHC engine or an OHV engine. I have seen a video on YouTube of Mr Aqeeq (Dat Biker Dude) in which the commenter was saying that it’s an OHV engine. But on the international website the company claims its an SOHC engine but with a carburetor that means the information is still blurred.

According to Dat Biker Dude, Mr Aqeeq the bike has vibration issues, but it will be at higher RPMs. And the commenter also said that the vibrations are not like the traditional CG125, but again, it will depend and it will be tested when the bike will officially be distributed among the customers and then the real customer review will appear on the internet. But as of now, the bike is killing in the area of looks and also the performance.Speedometer is completely digital with basic animation and all the information.

Analysis

So, the main question is, will this bike be a game changer? Well, according to my opinion, there will be only two possibilities. One is, it will be an extremely successful bike, and the second is, it will be an extreme failure. Because the bike during its launch has set the standards very high, like the beautiful design, decent build quality, and the EFI system instead of carburetor, which is definitely an expensive option. Fuel average as of now is not disclosed by Royal GPX but I guess it will give around 40 km/l.

And the build quality wise, the question will remain the same because the display units by company were of good quality But definitely when the original units will be delivered to the customers then the build quality will be tested and judged. Just like the Atlas Honda CG 150, where some viewers experienced a bad build quality, and Honda listened to the customers. So, in my opinion, this bike is a great option and at this price, I think it’s a killer.

But again, I cannot recommend anyone to go and just purchase or book this bike because of many reasons, like the after sales support, regular maintenance, and the future of this brand. If Royal Power managed to assemble these bikes in Pakistan, then definitely bikes will become cheaper and the build quality will definitely increase. The price of the spare parts will definitely decrease and the after sales support increase will definitely create a trust in the customers.

It will build a trust in the customers and definitely more and more customers will buy this bike. As, this bike has all the things, good looks, good engine, decent performance, and sportier looks with budget friendly price. But the current situation is not right because the company Royal GPX claimed their EFI model GPX Libre 150 price in Pakistan is 375,000 but the model they displayed was carburetor based. Motornity, an Instagram bike culture page of Pakistan, also mentioned that the miscommunication error was done by Royal GPX.

Lets see what will happen, as the Dat Biker Dude the biggest biker youtuber of Pakistan also claimed the Libre is carburetor based with an OHV engine. As these signs will definitely create a trust deficit in the potential customers. So the price confirmation for the EFI model is still pending but Pakwheels as well as Motornity claimed that the GPX Libre 150 price in Pakistan of Rs 375,000 is of EFI model.

Conclusion

So in conclusion everything in this bike is amazing, looks, performance, and also the best price. But the purchase decision should be about when the company will become an established company in Pakistan. And I will personally recommend this bike when the company starts assembling these models of GPX in Pakistan. As Royal Power, they claim that they have 15 years of manufacturing experience and they have partnered with GPX.

That means potentially they will go for the CKD units and the CBU units will discontinue. As of now, the company has just listed the specifications of the bikes. They just have the list of models, some specifications like how much CC the bike is and the gear ratio, etc. They don’t provide the detailed information like the other companies do, and they should do that so that the customer can easily make their purchase decision.

Also, there is no information of the dealers on Royal Power website, so that means you will not know whether this bike will first be available in your city or not. If you purchase this bike and something will happen and the company is not in your city, then it will cause a problem. As an EFI bike, which is definitely more complicated than a carburetor bike, but it is also at the same time more reliable and a more proven technology.
